Our story

We are a family from Poland. We love to travel and learn about different cultures, and most of all, the flavors of other countries. We came to Spain for the first time fifteen years ago and, like everyone else, we fell in love. Longing for the homeland made us come back to our country. But part of us stayed in Spain forever. For a long time we wondered how we could combine our passions. We came up with the idea of ​​opening a caffee house in Spain, with cakes from Polish recipes of our grandmothers. We were most enchanted by Andalusia and its charming Marbella. In December 2019, we made decision, and in July we realized it. In November 2020 we opened a family caffee house, La Mariposa. We are a small, close-knit (like in a family) team. We bake all cakes here, in small amounts, to keep them fresh and tasty. We make homemade marmalades, fruit sauces and lemonades. We have a lot of ideas and we are constantly changing for you. The entire caffee house is our original idea. Our vision is not only the food we serve, but also the decor of the place. We did everything ourselves. We would like to create a place for you where you will feel like home. In which it will be family, cozy and friendly. In which you will rest, start a wonderfully new day, or relax after a hard one. We are here for you and we are always open to your ideas. Thank you for your trust.
